The legal professions debated about continental law and the global financial crisis.

First seminar Economic Analysis of Public Law and Policies. This event, organised by Sciences Po and the Fondation pour le Droit Continental, will take place on 6 January 2010.

From June 20 to June 22, 2010, the International Max Planck Research School for Competition and Innovation and the Professorship for Intellectual Property at ETH Zurich will jointly organize their 2010 Workshop for Junior Researchers on the Law and Economics of Intellectual Property and Competition Law.

The "Economic efficiency of law" programme (2ED) was launched in 2004, in response to the World Bank’s “Doing Business” report. Since the end of 2007, this international research programme has been attached to the Fondation pour le droit continental - Civil Law Initiative.
