A graduate of ESSEC Business School, Institut d’Etudes Politiques of Paris and ENA [National School of Public Administration].

Laurent Vallée has served as Master of Requests to the Council of State and Government Commissioner in the Litigation Division of the Council of State (in charge of tax, economic and financial litigation).

He has also served as the Legal Advisor to the Director General of Customs; Legal Advisor to the Director General of Competition, Consumption and the Repression of Fraud; and Advisor to the Secretary General of the Government.

In 2008, he joined the offices of Clifford Chance as Of Counsel within the Tax Group.

He was appointed Director of Affaires Civiles et du Sceau [Civil Affairs and the Seal]  in April 2010.
