The objective

Provide a French law section for 1,000 libraries abroad.

The means

The Fondation pour le droit continental asks patrons to support its work by funding the purchase of a standard collection for the library located in the foreign institution of their choice.

The Fondation has established the groundwork for a partnership with the 1,067 Alliances Françaises network abroad, which all have a library. These could be endowed with a section specifically for law books.

In addition, the Fondation began to expanditsacademicand professional contacts, particularly through foreign correspondents and members of its Scientific Council. It has access to the cultural departments in French embassies to promote the dissemination of works by raising awareness.
