Promote the continental law expertise

Cooperation and legislative  rapprochement have become increasingly necessary in certain domains of the law. To that end, a private sector working group has been formed under the presidency of Professor Naoki Kanayama of Keio University in Japan. This group would like to focus on Europe in its studies, specifically on France.

The studies conducted to date have principally revolved around the law of contracts, insolvency proceedings,  consumer law and are aiming at a joint law project involving Japan, China and Korea specifically.

The Fondation pour le droit continental supports this project and has contributed to subsidizing it.
