Strengthen the international presence of the continental legal system and its professionals

  • In May, 2009, the Fondation and the international stakeholders in continental law organized the first European-U.S. summit in Washington, D.C., on the legal practices, experiences, and techniques employed to deal with the financial crisis and curtail its effects.

  • In November, 2010, the second summit was organized by the Fondation in Washington on the topic of "Evidence as an Element of Legal Certainty."

This summit was held over a two day period in the form of discussions and case studies conducted by legal professionals and was rounded out by providing an academic approach as well.
