Created in 2007 and headed by Professor Arnaud Raynouard, The Economic Efficiency of the Law (2eD) Program is a “think tank” intended to promote a fresh and original approach that is distinct from the classic “Law and Economics”.
This approach aims to integrate economic analysis and comparative law. It therefore involves the application of the techniques of Law and Economics to a comparative law initiative.
One of the projects will be to analyze the effects of legal institutions on economic development within the context of the culture of each system by utilizing the comparative law methods along with statistical analysis and econometrics.
The program Economic Efficiency of the Law is a platform for reflection and analysis for researchers and practitioners of law.
It encourages exchanges and interactions between them by means of studies, articles and seminars.
