Speech of General Manager
Dear Madam, Dear Sir,

After six years at the Fondation pour le droit continental, I am taking up a new position as judge at the Toulouse court of appeal.

These Parisian years were absolutely fascinating. With the Foundation, we have created from scratch a tool to promote continental law and we have led a great avriety of initiatives and clocked numerous sucecesses. The four major lines of thrust, research, training, promotion of expertise and international lobbying now are set into well defined programmes as well as in the guise of a number of future projects.

I also take this occasion to thank the leadership of the Foundation, and first and foremost, Mr. Henri Lachmann, its president, for the constant trust and support which were granted to me, as well as all the members of the Foundation’s team, led by Nicole Souletie, whose dedicated work has made these successes possible.

Finally, allow me to express the hope that the Foundation will always better answer your expectations.
